Natural Burial plots are mapped to a unique datum points and chronologically numbered. The computerised registry system logs all details of applicants and deceased. All burials are carried out in accordance with the Burial Act 1859 and in line with the recommendations of the Local Authorities Cemeteries Order 1977.
Coffins, caskets and urns are to be made from bio-degradable materials and embalming is to be avoided (if required a bio-degradable fluid alternative must be used such as AARDBalm). Each grave is marked with a natural memorial such as a native English tree, bird,bat or owl boxes which made from fallen oak, also benches supplied by Respect made from fallen oak or living willow each with a personal inscription . No formal granite headstones will be permitted.
We only carry out one burial per day with religious services typically held at local churches with a short graveside eulogy before final repose or a full graveside service carried out by family and friends – The Choice is Yours!

We have already commenced our process to alternative sustainable eco burial areas which support the values of green space preservation, carbon sequestration, habitat creation and nutrient recycling. The parks are maturing year on year into sustainable native mixed broadleaf woodland.
Our Eco Warden and proposed friends group will manage the site so as to encourage the natural regeneration of flora and fauna and in turn support and encourage a plethora of wildlife for many generations to come.
