We have found the perfect place for *******- everything he loved in close proximity. I have been up to Laughton several times since Friday and each time I find it comforting. I can sit on his bench and chat to him in peace and quiet.

I’m struggling to sum up a day like today. Awesome is a word that isn’t particularly associated with funerals, but it was a wonderful experience, equally sad as it was uplifting, surrounded by good people, trees, wild flowers & birdsong. 

Many thanks to the folk at Respect green burial parks for giving us this experience & food for thought for when I shuffle off this mortal coil
