Hello Gordon,

First of all can I just say how much my wife and I enjoyed the “service” at Bawtry yesterday.

We didn’t know what to expect or how long we were going to be there, we went along because L M had invited us so we could join her and her family in remembering her husband and our good friend who we sadly lost in July.

It is all too easy, when you are not family, to go about your daily lives and forget those that are no longer with us, especially at this time of year when your thoughts are focused on your own family.  Yesterday just helped us to remember and shed the odd tear at his loss which still hurts, and laugh at some of our good times with him, as well as allowing us to offer some support to his family.  For that you have our gratitude.
