Here’s Looking at you!

Both Alison (whilst working preparing a grave side setting) and Paul, our faithful grave digger have had the grave feeling they were being watched?

Now it’s confirmed,  we have a burrowing owl on our park!!

Burrowing owls are closely related to the British little owl, and live in North and South America. They differ from other owls since they are active mainly in the daytime, and the female is smaller than the male.

Not at all common in the UK

We now have three types of owls on our parks.  Barn, Tawny & Little Owls

By creating our wild meadow areas within the Parks we have seen an abundance of butterflies and bees using the meadows to acquire the pollen.  The Green Burial Park is a place for the Living as well as a place to be laid to rest.  All the bird boxes have chicks in from varying species of little birds and the birdsong is quite something.  See how many you can spot and let us know…

A Guide to British Birds found in our Park

Before opening our Green Burial Parks there was silence from the trees and now it is a real pleasure to visit the parks and listen to the different calls from the varying species of birds within.  Bird boxes have been purchased by some of the families enabling nesting sites for the birds to hatch and raise their young.

Client Testimonials.

May I take this opportunity to thank you and Alison for everything you have done to help us through this difficult time. We have found the perfect place for *******- everything he loved in close proximity. I have been up to Laughton several times since Friday and each time I find it comforting. I can sit on his bench and chat to him in peace and quiet.
