Respect not only offer Burial in a Green landscape but can also carry out the whole service ensuring the family only have to make one telephone call to our 24 hour number 01427 612992 to ensure that we can give them peace of mind in knowing that all their wishes for their loved one will be  carried out.

Green Burial is not for everyone so if Cremation is your choice then please telephone our office where one of our team can discuss this with you.

Here’s Looking at you!

Both Alison (whilst working preparing a grave side setting) and Paul, our faithful grave digger have had the grave feeling they were being watched?

Now it’s confirmed,  we have a burrowing owl on our park!!

Burrowing owls are closely related to the British little owl, and live in North and South America. They differ from other owls since they are active mainly in the daytime, and the female is smaller than the male.

Not at all common in the UK

We now have three types of owls on our parks.  Barn, Tawny & Little Owls

Best Green Funeral Director 2014 was awarded to Respect at an awards ceremony in Birmingham  hosted by the Good Funeral Guide and we would like to say a huge thank you to all those families who took the time to nominate us.  It is an honour to have received this award and it is rewarding to know that we are providing a service that families want.

Respect have been led into Funeral Directing through a natural progression.  Families have pre-booked their final resting places within our Parks and asked if we can arrange the whole funeral and of course why wouldn’t we, it makes perfect sense to deal with the whole service.

By creating our wild meadow areas within the Parks we have seen an abundance of butterflies and bees using the meadows to acquire the pollen.  The Green Burial Park is a place for the Living as well as a place to be laid to rest.  All the bird boxes have chicks in from varying species of little birds and the birdsong is quite something.  See how many you can spot and let us know…

Respect recommends you to watch Moving on by James

Moving On by James

The lead singer of James lost his Mother (age 9o) a year ago and has released a new Album.  On this album is a song called Moving On.

The video to this song is so powerful I dare you not to cry?  It depicts how his life is unravelling and how we try to save the ones we love from leaving us

The animator should be nominated for an award for this powerful interpretation.

Client Testimonials.

May I take this opportunity to thank you and Alison for everything you have done to help us through this difficult time. We have found the perfect place for *******- everything he loved in close proximity. I have been up to Laughton several times since Friday and each time I find it comforting. I can sit on his bench and chat to him in peace and quiet.
