Respect are associated with the the Natural Death Centre through the Association of Natural Green Burial.

In the 22 years since the charity was founded in 1991, the Natural Death Centre has sought to inform, empower and inspire the public in all matters relating to death and dying, and in particular to increase awareness of funeral choices outside of the mainstream.

Despite their long running links with environmentally friendly funerals, they are not a green pressure group, but primarily a movement for social change.

They have played a central part in demystifying the traditional funeral, encouraging thousands of families in having the kind of funerals they wanted, and helping create opportunity for new rituals to emerge.

They are, and will continue to be an informed and reflective presence on issues such as dying at home, caring for our dead and changing funeral practices and they actively promote natural burial as an option that should be offered to everyone.

Dying Matters have awarded membership to Respect to a group of companies whose aim is to help promote a National Campaign called Dying Matters. Their aim is to plan to host regional fairs on a yearly basis in order to help people find information about end-of-life issues such as making a wishes list so that the ones left behind know what your last wishes are with regard to arranging your funeral and what type of coffin you would like, whether you wish to be buried or cremated? Do you want to go to Church or have a graveside service or a eulogy read out at the crematorium?  Information will be provided on making a Will, and Disability Services and benefits available and also end of life care information provided by the local Hospice and MacMillan.

Cliff Richard Organisation Funded; A Party for Kath is a 5-minute film produced by the Dying Matters Coalition, demonstrating the benefits of greater openness around death and dying and how discussing your wishes and Pre-Planning exactly what kind of celebration and green burial you want. Centring on the story of a son, a mother, and an extraordinary party, the film is a unique and poignant representation of the Awareness Weeks message.

Client Testimonials.

May I take this opportunity to thank you and Alison for everything you have done to help us through this difficult time. We have found the perfect place for *******- everything he loved in close proximity. I have been up to Laughton several times since Friday and each time I find it comforting. I can sit on his bench and chat to him in peace and quiet.
